For over 80 years, the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk has
played a significant role in Poland’s artistic and cultural
landscape. Located in the city centre, it creates a unique
environment for education and creative work. The Academy
offers programs in painting, sculpture, graphic arts, design,
architecture, and intermedia, combining traditional techniques
with modern approaches, including digital art and experimental
practices. It emphasizes the development of artistic
independence, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary
collaboration, supported by an active faculty of artists,
designers, and researchers. At the same time, the institution
serves as an important cultural hub, organizing exhibitions,
