“Il est impossible de me manger!” (“It is not allowed to eat
me!”) is a travelling project between France, Italy, Turkey and
Lebanon in 2026–2027. Through writing workshops, it will
gather intimate testimonies from people of all social
backgrounds. These workshops invite each participant to
observe the small gestures and intentions, memories and
sensations that shape an identity. The testimonies will then be
filmed to create a mosaic of portraits. In 2028, the project will
bring all these voices together in a performance.
The project works against dehumanisation, builds cultural
bridges, and affirms that every personal story contributes to a
sensitive and collective community—one that recognises the
uniqueness of each individual.
