Founded in 2008 by pianist and composer Thomas Nguyen, Collectif Io brings together artists, musicians, authors and creators for the creation of multidisciplinary works where music interacts with theatre, dance and visual arts. Rooted in contemporary creation, Collectif Io has developed a repertoire of operas and other hybrid and innovative stage forms. Driven by a strong collective dimension and deep social commitment, Collectif Io carries out an ambitious cultural program. Since 2010, the Collective has supported the Collectif Io Youth Company and has designed many workshops and participatory projects for the youth.
