Foundation Liepāja 2027 is the main organization responsible
for implementing the European Capital of Culture title for the
city of Liepāja, Latvia in 2027. We are dedicated to fostering
sustainable, inclusive, and creative cultural development that
resonates both locally and across Europe.
Together with our partners from the region and abroad, we are
preparing a vibrant cultural programme for 2027, featuring
over 500 events across Liepāja. Even before 2027, we have
begun implementing initiatives that engage local communities
and foster international collaboration within the cultural sector.
With our experience in managing international projects, we are
eager to further enrich our programme by developing new
international partnerships and collaborative cultural projects.
