The Théâtre de Saint-Nazaire is one of the 78 "scènes
nationales" (a label awarded by the Ministry of Culture that
span the French territory).
The theatre has an 800-seat auditorium and a large rehearsal
studio that can accommodate an audience (up to 200 people).
It also runs a cinema that is a member of the Europa network.
Theatre and cinema activities attract around 90,000 spectators
per season.
