The association "La Société de l’Augmentisme" (The Augmentism
Society) has the following main missions:
• To raise awareness and promote augmented art, particularly through
augmented painting, a pictorial movement founded by the artist ABK,
and the issues it raises, among the widest possible audience by
advocating the principle of accessibility to culture for all.
• To promote cultural diversity, convinced of the educational and human
issues set out in the UNESCO Convention of October 20, 2005 on
Cultural Expression.
• To promote augmented art at the local, national, European, and even
international levels.
• To support augmented art. In order to fulfill these missions, the
association will produce or distribute in France, and/or in Europe and
internationally various cultural actions such as exhibitions-mediation,
conferences, installations, performances, artistic educational projects in
extenso, concerts, audiovisual creations, recordings, publications or any
cultural events or supports for which it will be the mediator, producer or
organizer. These actions may result in remuneration received for services
rendered and provided.
